“Even Superheroes couldn’t save us now!” is the second panel (after ”’If you’re looking for trouble…”) of a quartet which deals with the contemporary overturn of the meaning of symbols and archetypes through the prism of myth-build America, and how they have all mostly become infiltrated by fear.
The project uses the imagery of comics art to define a new situation on the world’s political and power landscape. It illustrates how an ideal becomes perverted and inverted. Fear, paranoia, and war are only some of the possible symptoms.
This project doesn’t pretend to be politically relevant, but only to question a possible reality and illustrate it. Which in essence is also political….
